With our help, home owners and private landlords, even if you don’t live in the property, can have their properties retrofitted with energy efficient measures, and inost cases completely free.
What will the grant pay for?
Those eligible for an energy improvement grant can receive up to 100% funding for a new boiler or full heating system, Heating controls, loft insulation, wall insulation, floor insulation heat pumps and solar panels. Some people may even be able to get new windows, doors, draft proofing.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible the occupier has to meet the following criteria.
- If the occupier/tenant is not working and as a result on benefits or they are working but the combined household income is less than £31k then you are eligible.
- If the occupier/tenant doesn’t meet the above criteria but they or someone they care for within that household, has a medical disability then you are eligible.
- Your EPC energy rating must be an ‘E’ or below.
