The Home Upgrade Grant Phase 2 (HUG2) is a government-funded grant scheme in England that provides energy efficiency upgrades and low carbon heating to eligible households.
Do ECO4 Gurus work with HUG2?

What are these?
- HUG2 is the Home Upgrade Grant phase 2 that started on April 2023 and will run until April 2025.
- GBIS is the Great British Insulation Scheme that will run from April 2023 until March 2026.
- LA Flex stands for Local Authority Flex. Under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) your Local Authority can expand the eligibility for those who may not meet the Benefit criteria with the ‘Flexible eligibility’.
- LADS is the Local Authority Delivery Scheme providing funding to improve the energy efficiency of homes of low-income households and to help reduce fuel poverty.
- SHDF is the The Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) that upgrades a social housing stock currently below Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) band C up to that standard
