This introduction to ECO domestic retrofit is for individuals, installers and management companies who want to know more about the domestic ECO retrofit sector and how to establish themselves as principal contractors.
This presentation will also give some insight as to what funding schemes are available to improve your housing stock, reduce emissions and energy costs in relation to heating homes.

Get started on your journey
- Contact Simply Certification (Cert Body)
- Contact Easy PAS Plus (QMS and PAS docs)
Once you have read your application guidance from your Cert body and talked to Easy Pas Plus or other chosen QMS and PAS document provider, then move onto the following actions.
- Click the following link and add your personal and company details to register your interest
- Call Andrew on 07831564351 to discuss the best PAS measures to apply for
- Apply for your PAS measures with your Cert body
- Set up your QMS and PAS docs
- Start looking for a potential project and reach out and talk to local retrofit assessors and lead gen where required
When you have your desktop/company audit booked in with your Cert body, continue with the following.
- Contact Andrew and he will send you his TM number, service agreement and other required info ready for your desktop/company audit.
After your successful desktop/company audit continue with the following.
- Contact Andrew to discus your PAS workflow software solution (PWSS) and to discuss onboarding with funding providers
- Purchase your PWSS with either ECO Surv or PAS Hub (Corelogic)
- Confirm your first install and start to process it through your chosen PWSS
- Inform ECO4 Gurus of your project. Ensure ECO4 Gurus are aware of your project right from the lead status on your first couple of jobs so we can advise you on project viability and provide adequate compliance guidance
- Receive and read your “ECO4 Guru project guides”
- Book out your retrofit assessments and technical assessments etc, through your chosen PWSS
- Follow ECO4 Gurus advice moving forward to your first project completion
- Complete your project, receive your Trustmark project certificates and apply for your funding
You should now have completed your first project, passed your onsite audit with your Cert body and be ready to book in your next project. Remember to keep the first few projects small, possibly just a loft insulation under GBIS with maybe heating controls. Don’t move onto your second project until the first one is lodged with Trustmark and with the funder for payment. Learn your software, processes and compliance then slowly start to scale your business as you solidify your internal systems and SOP’s.
